Onset®
Local anesthetics are manufactured at a low (acidic) pH to maintain a longer shelf-life. This acidity typically causes the anesthetic to “sting” when it is injected. Once injected, our bodies must work to raise the pH before achieving numbness. Onset® is a buffering agent that neutralizes the anesthetic for us prior to injection. This results in a more comfortable, faster acting and more predictable anesthetic experience.
