Intraoral Camera
The team at Ron Mamrick DDS is proud to be able to work with the highest-quality technology to help best treat our patients. Intraoral cameras are a wonderful technology that helps Dr. Mamrick to easily and clearly view the inside of patients’ mouths, thus allowing us to diagnose and treat any oral issue that may be difficult for our team to view without a camera. This tool allows Dr. Mamrick to observe the areas of a patient’s mouth that are hard to reach or see–providing a clear and detailed image of the teeth, mouth and gums.
How Intraoral Cameras Work
This camera is a lightweight, stylish and effective tool in helping Dr. Mamrick to capture high-resolution images of a patient’s mouth that cannot be seen easily by the naked eye. Intraoral cameras are compact and sleek, ensuring that there is no discomfort when inserted into the patient’s mouth. Dr. Mamrick may utilize this tool to view the corners of the mouth, and look for small signs of disease or infection deep within the gums or mouth.
Along with detecting early signs of disease and infection, intraoral cameras are of great use for measuring the success of an oral procedure or treatment. Once the procedure is finished, our team may use the intraoral camera to capture images of the patient’s mouth to compare the results to the image of the mouth prior to the procedure. This is a great tool for helping Dr. Mamrick to understand and determine the best treatment for each patient’s unique dental needs, in a convenient and efficient manner.
